Students Who Make a Difference Award

So excited that the donations made at my school went to Mariatus Hope! Being presented with this "check" today was so awesome. I was also honored to receive the Present's education award program for An A average all three years of middle school. I was also recognized for my volenteer work through my community with the Students who make a difference award. 

Books for Kids

I had a great time choosing books at Morgan Hill Bookstore today (the best bookstore in the world).  I won the Kearsarge Kindness award for my plan to start adding books for kids (ages birth-high school) to our local food pantry!   The award included $50 to start the project!   I've already gained a lot of local support!   Very exciting!

Service - Giving Your Best

I love the saying that you don't have to BE the best to volunteer - just give YOUR best!  

Whether you volunteer a few hours a week or one hour a year - get out there and make a difference!  You never know when a small effort on your part could totally change someone's life for the better!

This program has give me so many opportunities for service, and I am so excited about the new ways I will be able to serve in the coming year!
